How much will the tickets cost? Ticket prices vary from free to $10. Some groups offer discounts for purchasing tickets early or offer several free tickets for teachers.
How long are the performances? Performances are generally 50 minutes to 1 hour long.
Parking? Reserved parking is available on a limited first-come, first-served basis at the PAC for $6/car. Contact Melody Klemin at mrklemin@calpoly.edu to reserve a parking space and receive your special day-of-matinee permit. You can also purchase general scratch off parking passes ahead of time (good any day) for $5 at the Grand Ave. Visitors Center. Click here for bus parking information.
What are the different types of groups presenting matinee performances? Currently, there are three different types of presenters of school matinee performances:
- Organization(s) presenting a series of international and national touring artists: Poly Arts for Youth.
- Touring Theatre Companies: California Theater Center & American Theater Arts for Youth.

Local performing groups: Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo, Civic Ballet San Luis Obispo, Pacific Repertory Opera, & SLO Symphony.
