Bio: Caity McCardell

Caity joined the Foundation in January of 2012 with a background in Speech and Communication Studies (B.A., San Francisco State University), event coordination and fundraising with Tierra Nueva Cohousing, and administrative roles at start-up companies in Silicon Valley.

She grew up in Santa Barbara, met her husband while living in the Bay Area, and returned to the Central Coast to raise their two children. Her daughter, Gianna, is a ballet dancer and has enjoyed performing at the Performing Arts Center, affording Caity a glimpse into the inner workings of the PAC’s backstage areas before she joined the Foundation. Her husband, Stefan, is a composer and her son, Colin, is an aspiring pianist and has a passion for knitting. Caity is delighted to be a part of the development of the PAC!
