Bio: Heather Cochrane

The first time Heather visited the Performing Arts Center, she knew she wanted to work to support this world-class, stunningly beautiful home for the arts. Heather joined the Foundation as Executive Director in 2011, bringing to her work here more than 15 years of non-profit management experience and a life-long commitment to supporting the arts.

 A native of Los Angeles and a former resident of Ojai, Heather is happy to return to California after 8 years on the East Coast, and in particular to settle in San Luis Obispo. Heather is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and has an MA in English Literature. She is married to David Cochrane and has two children, Emma and August, and a stepson, Killian.
