Bio: Jeanne Potter

Jeanne Potter is a certified public accountant and a principal at Glenn, Burdette, Phillips & Bryson, CPAs (GBPB) in San Luis Obispo. She brings a diverse background to her position, specializing in tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners. She has expertise in estate and trust planning for family groups and individual and corporate income taxation. She is a graduate of Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and a concentration in accounting.

Jeanne began her career in public accounting in 1980 with GBP&B after a career in journalism. She became a director of GBPB in 1990. She currently serves as president for the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center and is a director and treasurer for the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce. She is a past president of the Central Coast chapter of the CalCPA, past chairperson of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce and a former president of the Rotary Club.

Apart from work, she sings with the Vocal Arts Ensemble, Cuesta Master Chorale and enjoys literature, gardening and all types of music.
