On May 21, 2026, Próxima Parada is coming home for a one-night-only performance with the San Luis Obispo Symphony. The evening takes place at Harold Miossi Hall on the Cal Poly campus, where the band members attended college, met one another, and began making music together before becoming a touring band. They’ll be performing original music written in San Luis Obispo by Próxima Parada, reimagined in collaboration with the SLO Symphony, a cornerstone of the Central Coast’s arts scene.

This concert brings the story full circle: local artists returning to the people and the institution that helped shape their journey from busking and playing at SLO coffee shops in 2012 to performing at clubs and theaters around the country. It’s a celebration of community support, education, and the lasting impact of the arts in San Luis Obispo—a love letter to the city and the people who have made all of this possible.
