On May 21, 2026, Próxima Parada is coming home for a one-night-only performance with the San Luis Obispo Symphony. The evening takes place at Harold Miossi Hall on the Cal Poly campus, where the band members attended college and began making music together. Over the years, they went from busking and playing SLO coffee shops to building a career touring nationally and sharing music with people worldwide (their top song has over 67 million streams on Spotify alone). They’ll be performing original music written in San Luis Obispo by Próxima Parada with the SLO Symphony, a cornerstone of the Central Coast’s arts scene, joining them onstage.
This night is a celebration of community support, education, and the lasting impact of the arts in San Luis Obispo—a love letter to the city and the people who have made all of this possible.
