ASI Events presents a stand-up comedy show featuring Morgan Jay! Morgan Jay is a musician and comedian based in Los Angeles. Along with winning numerous awards and festivals across the country he’s become a fixture on social media with his viral TikTok’s and Instagram posts. Morgan has made appearances on MTV’s Wild n Out, NBC, and Comedy Central. In addition, Morgan was a featured comedian at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal as a new face of comedy.
Important Pre-Event Information
Please take note of the following key details to ensure a smooth entry and experience:
- Location: Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo (Bldg. 6)
- Tickets: Ensure you have your ticket ready on your phone—each person must have their own ticket for entry. All ticket holders must have valid PolyCard and government ID to enter. For inquiries regarding ticketing, please email tickets@calpoly.edu. For information regarding mobile ticketing and mobile ticket transfer, please visit this website.
- Line Protocol: Holding spots in line will NOT be permitted. If you are waiting for others, please do not get in line until everyone is present. Cutting in line will result in being sent to the back. There will be no stand-by line or waitlist line.
- Prohibited Items and Venue Policies: Visit the Performing Arts Center Policies and FAQs page for more information regarding venue policies. Please see more information below.
- Entry & Security: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. All ticket holders must enter through the main entrance to the Performing Arts Center. Please form a single-file, orderly line along the plaza to ensure a smooth check-in process. We strongly encourage attendees to arrive by 6:00 p.m. to avoid delays and maintain steady entry flow.
- Performance Times: The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the comedy show will take place from 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Venue Rules
- Bag Policy: Any bags larger than 12”x12” or backpacks will not be allowed in the theater. Bags are subject to inspections upon entry.
- Phones and Devices: Please turn off or silence all electronic devices during performances. The use of recording equipment and cameras (with or without flash) during performances is prohibited.
- Media Access: Please direct all media requests to asimarketing@calpoly.edu.
- Security: All guests entering the Performing Arts Center are subject to visual and bag inspections.
Entry into the facility constitutes consent to being filmed and to the use of your image for the purpose of live streaming within the venue, including display on the big screen. Footage will not be used for any other purpose besides entertainment during the show.
Prohibited Items
For safety reasons, guests are refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Items are subject for review by campus police. If a guest is found inside the venue with a prohibited item, the item will be confiscated and the guest may be ejected from the facility.
The following items are NOT permitted:
- Aerosol cans
- Animals/pets
- Audio/video recording equipment
- Balloons or related items
- Chains
- Illegal drugs
- Laser pens and pointers
- Noisemaking devices
- Outside liquids
- Professional photography equipment, trips, and monpods
- Poles/sticks to display flags and/or banners
- Unapproved pamphlets, fliers, handbills, etc...
- Weapons of any kind (i.e. pepper spray, tear gas, handcuffs, stun guns, etc.)
Any other Item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by the venue in its sole discretion. This list is subject to change at any time by management. Thank you for your cooperation.

Parking Information
Guests without a Cal Poly parking permit will need to purchase a parking permit for this event. The Grand Avenue Parking Structure is available for parking with pay stations located on levels 2 and 4 by the stairwells and in the loop of the Performing Arts Center.
